Laurent, who went on to work for the US Forest Service for more than 25 years and retired as an archeologist, has a degree in anthropology from the University of Wyoming. It was while working with colleagues that he learned the skill. After long days in the field doing anthropology and archaeology work, the crews would gather around a fire to relax. A professor and some others who knew how to flint knap taught Laurent, and he has been honing his skills ever since. He loves the anthropology component and also the aesthetics of flint knapping. A quote from host Aaron Odom: “You don’t have to be a super-fan of theatre in order to get this; just someone who like a good juicy, gossipy story. The story will be absolutely relatable and definitely funny. So, just to keep your curiosity bubbling, will tell you that it’s a story from recent theatre history, you’ll most definitely be familiar with the people involved, and that I giggle and blush a bit every time I think about it.” Aaron Odom of Trident Theatre will host guests Matt Gaston of The Sheridan Press and Dustin Hebert, a former guest and Theatre Instructor from Casper, Wyoming, to discuss a scandalous tale that will definitely tickle your funny bone. PLUS! 4 ticket buyers will be randomly selected to win 1 of 4 gift cards to Frackelton’s, valued at $50 each! *For reference, this show will be rated “R,” or for podcast listeners, “E.” This show is improvisational in nature, and adult language may be used and more adult topics may be discussed.
