Full Cycle Cellular

Recently Wyolution was contacted by Full Cycle Cellular, who was having trouble getting their unfinished site to market.  Wyolution was able to take their existing site, move it to a different host, build in SSL security, create a bulk upload utility, and make several site changes — all within a very aggressive timeframe.  This enabled Full Cycle Cellular to bring their online cell phone sales store to market without losing valuable market time.

Reno.com’s Facelift

Reno.com

Wyolution recently worked hand-in-hand with Swift‘s Internet Ventures Group to redesign and redevelop Reno’s most visible webiste:  Reno.com.  Not just a facelift, this release takes Reno.com from an older codebase onto Swift’s primary newsite platform.  Not only did this allow Reno.com to utilize newer and better features than it had access to previously, it also makes a more cost efficient site because it benefits from the same code enhancements and fixes made to the rest of Swift’s 26 sites that sit on the same platform.

Sheridan Travel & Tourism Launches New Look

Home page of new design.
Home page of new design.

One of the objectives when we took over this site was to provide a framework that allowed the look and feel of the entire site to be updated on a timely (basis.  Without undertaken a full redesign that looked at content, information architecture, functionality, etc., we wanted to be able to keep things “fresh” and do that without costing the client a great deal of money.

This redesign marks the 3rd look and feel we have deployed to the site.  It cost less then 10% of the original to design and deploy the site.  The new look represents a more sophisticated western theme without becoming a “modern” western theme.  Sheridan is still very proud of its historical past and authentic western life still represented today.

Togwotee Trail Virtual Tour

Using Google’s new Google Earth API®, Wyolution recently released a virtual tour of Wind River Country.

“This represents a new wave in tourism websites,” stated Wyolution’s Jared Kail.  “It’s no longer enough to read about a destination and see pretty pictures.  Google Earth technology allows users to interactively explore the beauty of a destination in three dimensions, and even better doesn’t limit them to a single point on a map.”

The Togwotee Virtual Tour is the first of several virtual tours Wyolution will release in conjunction with its destination-based clients.  The tour takes users on a virtual “road trip” over Togwotee Trail, an area Rand McNalley lauded as one of the top 10 drives in the U.S.

Successful Launch of Referral Program

Wyolution wrote the code for a premier mountain resort company to increase sales through a referral program.  The system leveraged many existing client applications that all needed to be integrated into the final solution in order to provide client with the ability to customize outgoing emails as well as validate referees against previous purchases if they existed.

Wyolution leads launch of Swift’s 26 news sites

One of the new Swift sites recently released
NRToday.com

Swift Communications, of Reno, Nevada, launched 26 newspaper sites over the last month.  Wyolution took the lead on system architecture, vendor selection and implementation, and maintained an active role during the implementation of the project.  With Wyolution’s help, Swift was able to take 26 disparate sites and merge them into a single code base, allowing them to leverage maintenance efforts across all sites, implement enterprise-wide enhancements, and share winning strategies across their newspapers.  For Swift’s Internet Ventures Group, the result has been reduced maintenance costs, increased agility with requests, and a 99% success rate with their service level expectations.
